v1.0.0
General availability: Vyete is open to all shops
Vyete is now publicly available to every shop owner, everywhere. The waitlist has been removed. Any shop can create an account, set up a profile, and start selling immediately, no invite required. The Starter plan remains free with no time limit.
February 2026
v0.9.0
Menu Spaces for food businesses
Restaurants, cafés, and food vendors could create a Menu Space, a dedicated section of their shop for food items organised by course or category. Menu items supported descriptions, allergen notes, photos, and per-item pricing. Customers could browse the full menu from the shop profile. (Menu Spaces has since been discontinued.)
January 2026
v0.8.0
Inventory tracking per variant
Stock levels can now be tracked per product variant, so a T-shirt in size S and size M can each have their own inventory count. When a variant sells out, it is automatically marked as unavailable on the product listing. Shop owners receive a low-stock alert when any variant drops below a threshold they set.
November 2025
v0.7.0
Social saving and product sharing
Customers can now save products to a personal wishlist and share individual product listings via a direct link. Each share generates a clean preview when pasted into WhatsApp, Instagram, or any messaging app. Shop owners can see save counts alongside view and click data in their analytics.
September 2025
v0.6.0
Analytics dashboard
The analytics dashboard is now live for all shops. Shop owners can track profile views, product clicks, saves, and orders over daily, weekly, and monthly windows. The top-performing products panel shows which listings drive the most engagement, and the discovery report shows how customers are finding the shop.
July 2025
v0.5.0
Brand verification badge
Shops that are authorised stockists of a Vyete-registered brand can now apply for a verified badge. Once a brand approves the application, a verification mark appears on the shop profile and on every product listing connected to that brand. Customers see the badge before they read a description or check a price.
May 2025
v0.4.0
Customer reviews on product listings
Verified buyers can now leave a star rating and written review on any product they have purchased. Reviews are enabled by default on all product listings and require no setup. The shop's overall rating, calculated from all product reviews, appears on the public profile and in search results.
April 2025
v0.3.0
Tour Spaces: bookable in-store experiences
Tour Spaces let shops list bookable time-based offerings: tastings, sessions, tours, classes, and any other experience with a fixed duration and capacity. Each listing includes availability slots, pricing, photos, and a description. Customers can browse, pick a time, and book without leaving Vyete. Existing bookings appear in a dedicated dashboard view. (Since renamed to Service Spaces.)
March 2025
v0.2.0
Shelves: group products into curated collections
Shelves allow shop owners to group related products into named collections: "New Arrivals", "On Sale", "Staff Picks", or anything that fits the shop's layout. Products can appear on multiple shelves. Shelves are displayed in order on the shop profile and can be reordered from the dashboard at any time.
February 2025
v0.1.0
Beta launch: shop profiles and product listings
Vyete launches in private beta. Shop owners can create a public profile with a logo, description, business hours, location, and shareable URL. Products can be added with photos, pricing, and variants. Shops are searchable by category and location. The beta is open by invite to the first 200 shops.
